Pictura
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Made in 1 week for the 2023 Scream Jam. All assets were made by us during the jam duration and audio was sourced from Pixabay.
Pictura is a short horror game inspired by the 'im on observation duty' series and 'night at the museum', made with the Godot Engine.
In the game you play as the new night guardsman of a small art collection on their harrowing first night of the job. Equipped with a list of tasks to carry out throughout the night given by the last night guardsman, you must fend of the paranormal intrusions of a dark entity if you want to survive.
Your flashlight will drain over time so managing your usage is important if you don't want the candle man to catch you.

Really good game looking forward to play more of your games
nice jobs
I like the art style
Exceptional game!
I loved the experience. The game does offer unique story, good gameplay, easy mechanics and most of all it is fear inducing - the perfect combination of creepy and mysterious. The atmosphere and sound design was top notch.
Now, unfortunately it crashed. I tried to replay the same sequence and it kept crashing. I don't know if that's the issue on my side, but I fully understand that this is a Jam project and some things are expected. Hope the development to this continues and it does well in the Jam.
Best of luck!
Thankyou for playing!
I'm glad you enjoyed the game for the most part. The crashes are unfortunate, been trying to recreate the same situations as the video to find the fatal error with no luck, nothing like this came up from play-testers either.
Hopefully some other players report similar crashes so we can find the source of the issue and fix it.
Again thankyou so much for playing!
